WHAT STEEL IS USED IN THE FABRICATION OF FISUFOR?

The steel used in the fabrication of FISUFOR meets with the specifications of the EN 10020 standard (as it is indicated in the standard EN 845-3 that is used to determine the accreditation of the CE marking)

DOES FISUFOR HAVE THE CE STANDARD MARKINGS?

Fisufor meets the requirements of the EN-845-3 standard and therefore comes with the standard CE mark.
To obtain the CE mark in a product, the manufacturer must acknowledge and comply with certain controls and tests that assure the conformity of the product with the defined specification of the derivative/standard in question.
The tests that must be carried out by the organisation must be of good standing and the technical details of the product must be declared by the manufacturer.
Obligatory and of regulatory nature, acquiring the CE marking is a commitment of the manufacturer to that product concerning the European legislation.

WHAT ABOUT THE GALVANISATION OF FISUFOR?

According to the standard EN 845-3, Fisufor has a R20 coating, that is to say a galvanized minimum of 60 grs/m2.

This coating does not correspond to the average of the zinc but the minimum in any part of the masonry reinforcement.

Also, according to the Eurocode 6 (table C.3 of the standard ENV_1996-2) and according to the classes of exposure defined in the standard 1996-1-1:

• A galvanized masonry reinforcement is authorized only in a dry ambience.

• In the frontage, always use masonry reinforcement with epoxy coating or stainless steel.

• In the coast or in a chemical aggressive ambience, always use stainless steel masonry reinforcement.

WHAT IS THE CE MARK?

The CE marking is a distinctive to ensure that the products can move freely in all the EU member States, regardless of their country of origin.

It is designed to eliminate obstacles in the movement of goods in Europe.

The implementation of Directive 89/106/EEC on construction products with the CE marking effects a good number of products in the European Area.

Harmonised standards for construction products establishes the requirements they must meet and the characteristics of the product should be considered on the basis of its application and intended use, to obtain the certificate of conformity (CE) that authorizes the manufacturer to put the CE marking on products.

The armor of coating, such as the FISUFOR, compliance with the standard EN 845-3 is what determines that the product has CE marking.
